Like Monday, these come from my WIP, The Memory Cell and I'm doing all the same chapters.
Chapter 1: She would need to be at the hospital first thing.
Chapter 2: And it was almost effortless; she just had to tap into an alternate life that up to now she hadn’t realised she even wanted.
Chapter 3: He felt sure that once Mr Crossdale was discharged, his wife would ask for some help.
Chapter 4: By the time she was heading back up in the lift, she had put her plan together.
Chapter 5: Helen
went to sleep in a cloud of sparkling excitement for her future life.
Chapter 6: “Yes!”
he said, with the gasping enthusiasm of a child.
Chapter 7: She
understood it more now, but it was also imperative that she remained in
control.
Chapter 8: She
didn’t remember falling asleep.
Chapter 9: No
more getting wasted – he would find Robert himself and bring Mum back to the
person she used to be.

I loved 2 & 9 also! The hold so much power and meaning. I love that they don't give away too much but still have enough info to make me wonder what's going on. I want to know more!

Well, having some idea of what the book is about, I would say I like the chapter three ending the best.
Although the more I read the chapter five, the more I get this fairly unique and pleasant visual--though I fear Helen's imagination a bit!
I really like them, especially that last one.

I had to laugh at the falling asleep line. I think half of my chapters (in every book) ends with MC falling asleep, thus half of them are about waking up. It's probably my biggest fault. Nice job.

If I remember correctly, the hooker for Ch 2 was my favorite, just as the hanger for Ch 2 is. That must be one heck of a chapter! Great hangers!

These are great. #2 and #9 are my favorites. This is one awesome blogfest. It's interesting seeing hookers and hangers in isolation, while also making connections between them.

Nice hangers. I think the last one, #9, is the most striking.
I agree with several other commenters. My favorites are 2 (such an intriguing sentence) and 9 (sounds like a good character moment and something that would entice me to go to the next chapter.)
Oh I can't decide which one I like best! They're all great. Hm... I really like 6 because of the description you use :) Totally brought an awesome picture in my head. :)
