The agony of a failed quest haunts Kanze Zenjiro, but the betrayal by those he once trusted has turned his world upside down. With a heart full of hatred and defeat, Zen is desperate to return home and demand the truth from his father.
Meanwhile, the Iberian Empire sends their soaring airships and steam-powered giants into the Orient. They threaten to upset the balance of power, hoping to exploit the faraway land in their greed for the resources needed to power their machines. Zen and his companions must fight to keep the world from plunging into total destruction.
And at the center of it all is a nine year old boy with the power of a god.

In other exciting news, DL Hammons recently announced the return of the contest that everyone's talking about (even though they're not meant to... you know what I mean). WRiTE CLUB has proved hugely popular, and just gets bigger and bigger. This year, I plan on being much more involved than I have been before. Contenders have until 31st May to throw their anonymous 500 word pieces into the ring to face a series of elimination rounds. The judging panel for the final round is comprised of top authors and agents. Great stuff, eh? You can find the full lowdown from DL here.
Looking forward to Jay's new release or any others? Will you be strapping on your gloves for WRiTE CLUB?

Congrats to Jay!
Don't think I've heard of WRiTE CLUB before. I won't be participating, since I only write comics now, but it sounds like a fun concept!
That's an awesome cover and cool premise. Congrats to Jay!
Looks awesome, Jay! And good luck to all who enter Write Club.
Write Club! I've not heard of this before, but it sounds awesome! Thanks for bringing it to my attention! I'm seriously considering entering...
And congrats to Jay too :)
You're taking over the blogosphere, Jay. Congratulations! :D
Congrats to Jay. I'm seeing his book all over the place. Awesome!
Yay for Jay! I love that cover. Woo-hoo for WRiTE CLUB! Have a great weekend, Nick. :)
How fun! I can't wait to read the WRiTE Club entries.
CONGRATS, JAY!
And WriteClub is such a fun event!
Happy Weekend Nick!
Congrats to Jay! I loved his first book, and I'm looking forward to this one!
And, Go Write Club!
I like that cover art. Reminds me of the spirit of the old Hardy Boys books but with an updated look. It announces, "Adventure and mystery".

I see you're making the rounds, Jay. Congratulations again.
Love the cover for Shadow Warrior! Write Club sounds like fun. I'm thinking about doing it.
Congratulations to Jay! I remember him talking about his book on his blog.
I've never participated in the Write Club before as a contestant, but I have enjoyed reading the entries in the past.
I have not heard of this, but now I will have to see if I can make a 500 word story happen since I'm doing the whole short story thing all month anyway. Thanks for the info!
Thanks for popping by my blog today. I'm glad I hopped back here. What a lovely cover for Jay's new book. I don't know about Write Club. I've heard about it before, but not sure if I can put the time into that with everything else that is on my agenda. I always get way too busy with shows at the local art center and don't leave enough time for things like writing. Sigh...
I sadly have to sit out on Write Club, but I promise not to talk about it (which means I'll be telling everyone). Looking forward to Jay's second book! :)
Thanks for not talking about WRiTE CLUB. It's gonna be another great year!
And Jay's book cover is impressive. Somebody with a very keen eye put that together! :)
I dig Jay's covers. I really want to read his books. The pile just keeps growing and growing.
Good look for those in the Write Club.
Fun cover and congrats to Jay!
Thanks so much, Mr. Wilford. I appreciate it (as always).
Write Club is baaaaaack!
Haven't read Jay's first book yet and the second is on the horizon. Haven't taken part in Write Club.
Jay's cover is great!
Last year, I really enjoyed the Write Club entries.
Not sure if I'll participate though...
Congratulations, Jay! I've gained a soft spot for Steampunk, so I'll be checking this one out.
Write Club is amazing - enjoy :)
